I am a retired nurse that is always looking for something to do, now that I am at home.
The need arose and I began sewing cotton facemasks, which kept me extremely busy.
After more than 2,500 masks we finally had a vaccine and the need for facemask was put to rest.
NOW WHAT??
While I was looking for new ideas I was asked about table runners and placemats. They said "we don't see those very often" and the ideas came flooding in. So it began, first table runners and placemats. Then potholders and trivets. Next came embroidered hanging dishtowels and aprons. There is no telling where else I will branch off to but I will always be at my machines, LOVING what I am doing.
